Overview
The AI Management System Manager Track prepares participants to establish, maintain and continuously improve an AI Management System (AIMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 and broader regulatory expectations for trustworthy and responsible AI.

Practitioners, implementers, and consultants involved in the design, implementation, or improvement of AI management systems aligned with ISO/IEC 42001
Individuals with responsibility for establishing or governing organisational AI management structures, policies, and controls
Current or aspiring AI management system owners, coordinators, or governance leads responsible for operating and steering an AI management system
Members of AI governance, risk, compliance, or assurance teams who play an active role in shaping, evolving, and continually improving responsible AI management practices

In this track, you will acquire the following capabilities.
Design an AI Management System that actually works
Translate ISO/IEC 42001 into practical, organisation-specific governance and processes
Integrate AI management coherently into the organisation’s existing management systems
Take ownership of AI governance
Define roles, responsibilities and accountability structures for AI
Position AI governance clearly within management and operational decision-making
Manage AI risks, performance and improvement
Identify and assess AI-specific risks across data, models, deployment and use
Define monitoring and controls that provide meaningful oversight of AI systems
Lead reviews and improvement with confidence
Prepare and support internal and external reviews of AI governance and controls
Use findings, incidents and performance data to drive targeted improvements
Professional positioning
Establish a recognised competence profile as AI Manager in ISO/IEC 42001-based organisations
Take responsibility for the implementation of a new AIMS or the coordination of an existing system
Act as a competent counterpart to senior management, clients, auditors and certification bodies
