Environmental Management Training Modules
Focused, standards-aligned modules covering Environmental Management System (EMS) operation and ISO 14001 auditing
What these modules are designed for
These modules are designed for professionals who are responsible for planning, operating, improving, or evaluating environmental management practices in their organisation, whether as environmental managers, auditors, risk and compliance professionals, or contributors to environment-related processes.
They focus on environmental management system operation and environmental auditing perspectives. Rather than treating environmental management as a compliance layer or reporting exercise, the modules address how an Environmental Management System (EMS) supports structured environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and continual improvement in practice.
The modules emphasise practical application across the EMS lifecycle: analysing organisational context and environmental conditions, identifying environmental aspects and impacts, defining roles and responsibilities, managing risks and compliance obligations, implementing operational controls, monitoring performance, gathering and evaluating evidence, and driving continual improvement. They are aligned with ISO 14001 and related standards and can be taken independently or combined into professional tracks.
How these modules fit into professional tracks
Environmental management modules can be taken as standalone training or combined into structured professional tracks. Depending on the selected modules, participants may focus on EMS management roles, ISO 14001 auditing roles, or a combination of both.
Modules completed as part of one track are recognised across others, reducing duplication and enabling efficient progression into broader roles such as Environmental Manager, ISO 14001 Auditor, or integrated management system roles spanning quality, environmental, information security, or business continuity management.
